LGU welcomed UNIFIL Officers at its Tyre Campus to celebrate the 40th anniversary of UNIFIL presence in the South of Lebanon. Mr. Mohamed ABOU JAHJAH, the representative of UNIFIL Civil Affairs Office, and Officer Andrea FAZIO Lieutenant Colonel made a presentation on UNIFIL activities, daily tasks, and commitments. The presentation was followed by an open discussion and questions raised by students on certain particular issues pertaining to the UNIFIL mission. At the end, handouts about the UNIFIL were distributed.
