The Lebanese German University proudly celebrated its Fifteenth Commencement Exercises at Casino du Liban, marking the graduation of the Class of 2026 and reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence and the preparation of future professionals.
Held under the patronage of H.E. Minister of Industry Eng. Joe Issa-El-Khoury, represented by Director General of the Ministry of Industry Mr. Adel Al-Shabab, the ceremony was attended by H.E. Archbishop Monsignor Paolo Borgia, Apostolic Nuncio to Lebanon; Bishop Hanna Alwan, representing His Beatitude Cardinal Mar Béchara Boutros Raï; Ms. Yasmin Raya, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Lebanon; representatives of the Ministers of Public Health and Telecommunications; Members of Parliament; representatives of the Lebanese Armed Forces, General Security, State Security, and Civil Defense; as well as presidents of professional syndicates, local officials, school principals, academic leaders, alumni, faculty, staff, and the graduates' families.
As LGU proudly marks 50 years of educational excellence, this year's Commencement Exercises celebrated not only academic achievement but also the perseverance, ambition, and resilience that have brought our graduates to this milestone. Today marks the beginning of a new chapter as they embark on careers dedicated to making meaningful contributions to Lebanon and beyond.
