Our Mission
The Lebanese German University Alumni Association (LGUAA), established in July 2019 by Ministerial Decree No. 1112, brings together all graduates of LGU, as well as its predecessor institutions ISPM and IESP dating back to 1972. It exists to nurture a lasting bond between the University and its alumni, built on shared values, mutual support, and a commitment to lifelong learning. LGUAA fosters this connection through a variety of initiatives, networking events, professional development, mentoring programs, and continuing education opportunities, designed to keep graduates engaged and growing throughout their careers.
LGUAA isn't just about staying connected with fellow alumni. The office spearheads fundraising galas, cultural and scientific events, and programs that give back to the Lebanese German University, enriching the experience for current students and graduates alike. Understanding the importance of lifelong connections, LGUAA bridges the gap between graduates, their alma mater, and the cherished memories they share.

LGUAA Governance
LGUAA is governed by bylaws established in 2019, which outline an advisory structure comprised of an Alumni-elected Board, chaired by a President, and including a Vice-President, a General Secretary who acts as a liaison between various groups and subcommittees and keeps official records and meetings minutes, and a Treasurer to manage finances.
