LGU brought the community together for an important cause: breast cancer awareness, prevention, and recovery.
The seminar featured Dr. Tarek Wehbe, Oncologist, who discussed warning signs, early screening, and today's treatment options, and Dr. Youmna Mrad, Physical Therapist, who highlighted the role of physical therapy in recovery, helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence.
From insightful questions to personal stories, the audience made the session a meaningful opportunity to learn, share, and connect.
Giving back and spreading awareness! Our raffle winners received multiple prizes, including free mammograms provided by Elite Medical Center, free physiotherapy sessions at PaRC (Physiotherapy and Research Clinic at LGU) and free nutrition consultations at NaRC (Nutrition and Research Clinic at LGU)
We also celebrated the occasion by cutting a cake together, marking a moment of solidarity, hope, and commitment to the fight against breast cancer.
